Ducati has unveiled the 2022 Panigale V4 SP2 sports bike for the global markets. The limited-edition motorcycle is expected to come to India as well.The latest addition to the Panigale line-up comes with several upgrades over the V4 S, including an improved front fascia, carbon fiber wheels, more powerful brakes, and dry clutch, among others.Pre-booking for the two-wheeler will begin in mid-2022.

The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 sports a special ‘Winter Test’ livery featuring matte black fairings along with matte carbon rims and wings, and bright red accents. The wings are embellished with the Italian flag.The bike sits on an aluminium alloy frame and has a sporty look with a dual headlamp cluster, a transparent windscreen, a rider-only saddle, and a muscular fuel tank.
Safety
The bike has disc brakes on both the wheels
To ensure the rider’s safety, the 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Slide Control, and Engine Brake Control.Suspension duties are taken care of by fully-adjustable Ohlins NPX25/30 pressurized forks up front and a fully-adjustable Ohlins TTX36 unit on the rear end.

A 215.5hp mill powers the motorcycle
The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 draws power from a Desmosedici Stradale 1,103cc, liquid-cooled engine that generates 215.5hp of power and 123.6Nm of torque. The mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With the Ducati Performance racing exhaust, the output can be increased to 228hp.

The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 will be available in the US at a price-tag of $39,500 (roughly Rs. 30.23 lakh) and will hit the European mainland at €39,500 (around Rs. 33.23 lakh). Pre-orders will start in mid-2022 and deliveries will begin by year-end.
